Admissions
Admissions criteria changed quite a bit during the 2024-2025 period. This page summarises the individual University requirements that resulted from these (and hopefully won't change).
General Information
- All universities require the UCAT. Only some will have a cut-off, and this generally doesn't change much between years at individual universities.
- For universities in the table, these are estimates based off last year's values.
- 4 A levels is not really "better" than 3; A*A*A* is more impressive than A*A*A*A, only do a 4th if you genuinely won't be affected by workload, enjoy the subject and believe you can get A*.
- If you have any further questions about specific GCSE requirements or typical grade offers, please search this online or come talk to a Y13.
Oxbridge Information
- For those applying Oxbridge, there is no UCAT cut-off, they just take into consideration (alongside predicted and GCSE grades). Do note generally it was expected to be 3000+ in 2025 (equivalent to 2200+ for 2026 entry).
- You MUST be doing Chemistry. The remaining subjects must generally be 2 of Biology, Maths, Further Maths and Physics.
