Aimed at Sixth Form students pursuing careers in Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Sciences, our weekly Tuesday meetings in the Lecture Theatre prepare you for competitive university applications across the UK and abroad.

With the guidance of our University Preparation Lead: Dr Hubbard, explore medical ethics, tackle interview-style questions and even present topics that interest you.

Hello, my name is Arya (Y13) and I'm the current MedSoc Chair. I have a passion for medicine, both due to my love for Human Biology and competitive spirit. MedSoc has helped me a lot over Y12 in preparing myself for my application to medical schools and I am confident you will find the support you need here.

I have chosen to pursue medicine as a degree at university because for me it's the perfect balance between science and human interaction. As Vice Chair of MedSoc, it is my role to organise content for the sessions and present when we meet. I also enjoy leading Junior MedSoc, where we do similar things as at MedSoc, but it's aimed at younger year groups, so we try to make the content more accessible for them.

Hello! My name is Charan (Y13) and I am an aspiring medical student. I love learning and teaching, being able to express ideas or advice to people is something I find extremely important. I am also a Cadet Operational First Aider as part of St John's Ambulance, greatly attributing to my passion for medicine. It is truly inspiring and I can't wait to become a doctor.
